Portraits

For the past six months, I've been taking oil painting classes at Barnsdall Art Park with a weed-smoking, Aztec loving, UFO believing art wizard, who lets me do whatever I want, because 1) he probably knows I can't paint any other way, and 2) he looked at my canvas and then launched into a lecture on how "ugly" is worth striving for.
